There I am working in my studio, on my first painting of the year. I was surprised by my wife, Yvonne as she snuck up behind me. I heard the footsteps and turned in time to see the camera flash go off.

David....love your gallery...great shot af a master artist. I also was inspired by Van Gogh's Lust for Life movie.I must have seen it 50 times .A wonderful movie for all artists. I was headed to Dominica to live in the rainforest before Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005. I met wonderful people from Dominica while living on St. Croix. One day I will make it to your beautiful island and paint its beauty.
