Title
Sex Appeal of a Dinette Set #2
Artist
David G Wilson
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Wood
Description
In Victorian England, it is said that they invented the tablecloth in order to preclude the arousal of English gentlemen who might have a predilection to ogle the legs of tables.
By juxtaposing these innocuous elements of a dinette set, I have tried to rationalize the English forsight that led to their preemptive action against such prurient behavior. Dinette sets of the 19th century apparently stimulated some unforseen lascivious behavior in that society reknown for prudery.
