Artist's Description
You, the viewer, are standing backstage watching, through the curtains, a performance by Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer and Bob Marley. Bunny is beating a huge drum on which there is a white map of Jamaica. Peter is playing the lead guitar. Their dreadlocks are being tossed in the air as they perform. The silhouette of Bob can be seen in the distance on stage. In the left corner one may see their communion in the form of a potted cannabis plant. The shadow of Bunny and the drum, cast on the floor, presents the image of the roaring Lion of Judah in ascendance. David G. Wilson
About David G Wilson
I am exhausting tremendous efforts in trying to depict a spacial dimension that is inclusive of the third and supported by a two dimensional surface. It is a dimension that exists somewhere within our three dimensional terrestrial space, congruent and mutually inclusive of empirical realities. Its existence is contingent on the shifting retinal impressions of the viewer's perceptions. I call it: "Alternative Reality.
