Title
The Mystery of Transubstantiation
Artist
David G Wilson
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
The windowframe represents the cross and the glass mimics his body with the cherry as his head. The bread and wine are the symbols of his body and blood. What you are looking at is a glass of wine on a windowsill with a piece of bread, supported aloft like Atlas supporting the world, the weight of which is that of worldly sin . The blue ribbon serves as his loincloth.

It is unbelievable! At first glance, I saw a calyx. Reading your descrption makes me think how simple things sprout clever thoughts in your mind. You are a true artist. Your philosophy makes your artwork so appealing. Une vraie oeuvre de genie!! (V/f)
