Description
The annunciation has occurred and the messenger takes to his heels and is departing. She is bewildered as she contemplates her destiny. Across her forehead one sees the shadow of the roof of the inn wherein there is no space to accomodate her. At her collar there are three bejeweled drops of blood that represent the trinity- the divinity - and the three wounds that shall represent the source of the physical agony of the child that has just been placed within her womb.
