Description
 David G. Wilson
The strategic and plausible juxtaposition of some commonplace objects may reveal their collective anthropomorphic characteristics. Such juxtaposition will create a hitherto unseen alternative reality within the boundaries of our three dimensional terrestrial space. In that regard we may be able to perceive another dimension within this same three dimensional terrestrial space. By stretching the potential of the rules of aerial perspective, one may be able to transcend the boundaries of our terrestrial spatial limitations to depict a hitherto unrecognized dimension. Physicists acknowledge that there are at least eleven spatial dimensions in the universe and as far as I can imagine, art may be the only medium through which our limited perceptive faculties may be able to visually experience any of them beyond the third dimension.
In an effort to depict the dimension of alternative reality, I am able to congruently depict the cruel and reductive commercial equation that slavery imposed on my African ancestors; buying and selling them like human merchandize. In this picture, I have managed to depict the depreciative effect of the African slavery as the slave master chose to regard him; chattel whose unpaid services would place his meals on the table.
